A little free time for you~

Hi my darlings~

This is Skim!!!! How are my lovely obsess-ers today! It has been quite a week for us but, remember when we posted about how we obsessed over Brandy Melville, we really meant it! Today, we are rockin out in our new tops that we just purchased and squeezed in a small photo shoot at our school parking area. Chloe and I have been super busy putting together our projects which we will post on a later day so everyone can see what hard workers we are besides taking awesome pictures for everyone! Also, if you can't wait till then come check our website here >>>> Skim & Chloe

On another note, Chloe and I have been obsessing over these pairs of Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and can't wait to get a pair!!!! Chloe likes the blue ones and I prefer classic black. They look super sexy and just fantastic. What do you think of them? Are there any other pairs of shoes you're obsessing over?

Last but not least, I want to give a special thanks to my uncle back home in Texas. R.I.P you will be forever missed.

Enjoy our photos!!!!

Beautiful on a Gloomy Day

Hello my darlings <3

Chloe here! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, been super busy with finishing up senior projects because we are GRADUATING in 19 days!!! Be excited for us because we are pretty excited for all this stress and work to be over with. At the same time, I won't lie I am kinda sad to leave this city and leave some of my friends behind but I know I will see them again some day. Thank god, Skim is moving to Calgary so I will be able to see her lots.

Anyways, I would like to thank you all for supporting our blog, your comments and likes on here and Fashiolista has made us want to put more effort into the blog. I know we don't have much, but the blog is still young and if you keep following we promise to make this the best blog ever!

Los Angeles has been super gloomy lately, its really depressing me. It's April shouldn't it be nice out? I want some sun please! Well today Skim and I went to 3rd street promenade to work on our blog. It was once again gloomy out but that doesn't mean we can't look good right? For those who have never been to LA you must visit 3rd street, it has the best out door shopping and the architecture is amazing, so sleek and modern. Yes the designer in me is coming out. We did a little bit of shopping, looking at the new trends and styles going around. We were more on a hunt for trousers, Skim is wearing a tux at Senior Show and well the hunt for the perfect wide leg trousers have been kinda disappointing. However, on our adventure to finding these trousers we met some nice people along the way. We also invited some new people to our senior show. For all those who live in LA you should all come to our Senior Show! It will be amazing.

Have any of you ever been to Hooters? Well I am sure if you have the experience is fairly interesting. I don't know why but I always end up getting the dumbest waitresses. Oh well, at least the fried pickles made up for it. Have any of you ever tried their fried pickles? If you haven't please try, the best ever.

Ok enough blabbing, time to show you our new outfit pictures. Oh forgot, we will be doing a splurge and steal post soon so stay tuned for that.

A Day In Heels At Home Depot

Good Afternoon My Darlings!!!

Skim here~
How is everyone? I hope your week is going by fast like ours cause the weekend is just around the corner! Chloe and I are still ridiculously busy with school projects so we decided to take the photos while running errands. Multi-tasking for us today! On top of that, we dressed extra classy because we had senior photos to take which was a lot of fun! (Stay tuned for those images when it's done being edited.)

So picture this~ Chloe, Rachel, and I, three extraordinary dressed up girls, walking into Home Depot with a giant camera in one hand, purse in the other, and the occasional can of spray paint with massive heels on. It's quite a sight if I do say so myself!!! It was a bit awkward to take photos next to a bunch of tools and plywood so we decided to take the photo shoot elsewhere!!!! We went straight to the nursery section of the department and had a fashion photo shoot pow-wow. Right next to the trees, flowers, and bushes!!!

Speaking of HEELS at Home Depot...

I decided to wear my Jeffrey Campbell Rockin Platforms and lets just say, I've worn heels since middle school and this is the only pair of heels I absolutely cannot walk in for more than an hour. Jeffrey Campbell, you disappoint me with such poor ergonomics with this specific pair. I mean, the Lita platforms are just super comfy and easy to walk in but these... after a couple of steps, I feel like my feet are being bind together and I have to take baby steps like a girl who's never walked in heels in her life. But I guess that's the price I have to pay for wearing super awesome looking shoes!!!
After all, "Beauty Is Pain!

Chloe on the other hand, wore these adorable suede wedged sandals from Aldo which are to die for! They look similar to the Elizabeth and James wedges but half the price!!! Gosh, I love shoes that are cute and budget friendly! Chloe's on the other hand has gold buckles which add the perfect amount of glam to a pair of shoes! She rocks this pair with almost anything she wears but today she paired it perfectly with electric blue toenails and a bright orange clutch! Wedges are easy to walk in and look fabulous with just about everything! And did I mention they make your legs look long and slender! Although, Chloe did mention she wanted to get the actual Elizabeth and James wedges for senior show...I guess we will see about that!!!

p.s If you want to check out the shoes mentioned in today's blog, just click on the names and it'll take you straight there!!!

Chloe is wearing...
Stella McCartney Sunglasses, Silence & Noise (Dress), Aldo Wedges, Marc by Marc Jacob clutch, House of Harlow Jewelry, nOir Jewelry, and H&M necklace and rings.

Skim is wearing...
RayBan Wayfarer, Lolita (top from NASTYGAL), Club Monaco denim, Jeffrey Campbell platforms, Marc by Marc Jacob purse, House of Harlow jewelry, Tiffany and Co. jewelry, nOir Jewelry, and H&M jewelry

Beauty Product Obsessions

Bonjour everyone!!

Chloe here! Hope everyone's week is going great. Skim and I have decided to share with you our favorite beauty product obsessions. Being a girl who loves all things beauty, how can I go without amazing beauty products? I won't like I am pretty much a makeup whore, I will try everything that is out there. However, I am here to share with you the best products team Deux Obsessed are well...obsessed with.

Can someone tell me do you really not care about what types of skin care products you use? or that you don't mind breaking out or you can go without covering a horrible zit or scar up? I can guarantee that 90% of the people out there can agree with me that there is no way they will walk out the door looking like crap and having people stare. I for one can't even walk out the door without at least foundation on, that just shows you how much I care about my face. I even wash my face every night with 5 types of face washes, yes you may think that is a little excessive but I don't ever like to break out.

Okay, enough with me ranting about my skin and what I are our beauty product obsessions.

If you ever want to try these out GO RIGHT A HEAD, THEY WORK GREAT FOR US!! Also please let us know what types of products are your FAV, I am sure I would love them too!!

xoxo Deux Obsessed

Chloe's FAV items:

Bliss Steep Clean Mask: $55
The best mask one can use. A once a week mask that leaves your skin feeling refreshed, soft and brand new. This only takes 15 minutes to work, you can feel it literally cleaning deep into your pores. I use to break it out a lot but after using this miracle mask, my skin has been amazing since. NO JOKE

Korres Body Butter in Guava : $29

I am a girl with really dry skin and I have tried almost every moisturizer out there, everything at Body Shop, Bath & Body works, expensive stuff and cheap drug store products. Nothing worked until......THIS CAME ALONG!!! Not only does it smell amazing, it works miracles! It leaves my skin nice and smooth all day long, you won't need to reapply unless you wash it off! Best body butter out there for sure!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: $36
This is my favorite primer by far. I have tried maybe 5 types of primers and this one makes my skin feel smooth and light. It almost feels as though I have nothing on. It goes on so smooth and little goes a long way. My foundation lasts almost all day after I put it over the primer. Also, I have yet to break out from this primer unlike most.

Origins Acne Spot Treatment : $13.50

I may have said I barely break out because of the products I use but I am still a person. I break out once in a while when mother nature hits. Well here is the magical product that will remove that nasty bump on your face in a heart beat. I just recently introduced this product to Skim and lets just say she is OBSESSED!! It is a gel that leaves a dry layer over the imperfection so that the magic can work. It stings a little when you use it but it is a good sting, you know it is working because of it. Please try, I am telling you once I put it on, it is gone the next day!

Bath and Body Works Super Softening Hand Lotion : $12

I won't lie, I worked at Bath & Body works this past summer, didn't last long there because it was maybe the worst job ever! But I did learn something, they have the most amazing hand lotion yet! Like I have said before I have really dry skin and I cannot lug around my huge tube of Korres body butter, but this stuff comes in the perfect size for my purse. Just a little lasts all day unless I wash it off. My hands don't feel greasy after using it like most lotions feel. I recommend this because it is the perfect hand lotion that comes in the right size.

Skims FAV items:

IPKN Essential Moisture Cleansing Foam $17

IPKN NEW YORK MOIST 12.5 Emulsion : $40

IPKN NEW YORK MOIST 12.5 Toner $38

These items may seem like they are on the pricier side but they work magic! Leaves the skin smooth and flawless. This product comes in different skin types, no matter if you are dry, oily or both. What else could a girl want??

Yes to Blueberries Makeup Remover Wipes :$7.99

These are amazing towelettes! I am serious! Skim uses these constantly and it takes everything off. I didn't believe her till she gave me one when I was in no mood to go through my 5 step makeup removing process. I took one and it took all my makeup off. Not only did it do an amazing job but they smell amazing too! Plus who can say no to that price?? 7.99 NO WAY!

A Day at Venice Beach!

Bonjour Lovelies!

Chloe here! How was everyone's weekend? It is starting to get really hot here in LA, this week it will be a high of 29 which is very hot! Skim and I decided to take a long break yesterday from school and decided to go for brunch with Rachel at Soleil in Westwood. It is a little restaurant that serves poutine and bottomless mimosas. Man have I missed poutine. For all you wondering what this poutine is a Canadian specialty that pretty much consists of fries, loads of gravy and chunks of cheese curds. How amazing does that sound?? There are different forms of poutine, you can get it with sausage, peppercorn, beef....pretty much anything. But original is the best! Have any of you tried poutine before?

After our delicious brunch, the girls and I decided to wander to Venice Beach. Lets just say for all those who haven't been before, it is an interesting place. I don't think I can even count how many times I was asked to get a license for medical marijuana. Venice is known for hipsters, street entertainment and hole in the wall stores and parlors. But one thing for sure, if you ever need an ego boost, Venice is the place to be. There are men left and right that tell you how beautiful you are and how hot you are even if you don't believe it, it makes you feel a lot better about yourself. I know I did. While we wandered the Venice Boardwalk we decided to take some photos by the skate park and graffiti wall, it was such a beautiful day out, we had to take advantage of the sun. We ended our day with some waffle cones of delish, mouth watering ice cream. I had cookies n creme MY FAV! and Skim had pistachio DELISH!

What are your favorite places to go on a hot weekend????
